Our Story

This is the first of the McCafferty's Bars, which began in Donegal Town on Friday 13th
January 2017, when the Boyle family bought a well known bar on Donegal Town’s iconic
Diamond. The bar had its name going back through generations of McCafferty’s families
from the locality. Welcome where tradition, music, and the unmistakable warmth of Irish
culture come alive. Nestled in, our pub offers a unique experience blending history, local
charm, and world class entertainment at Donegal's award winning live music venue.
